Survata conducted a study to determine consumer preferences on streaming music consumption during the month of October 2018, which marks the the 10 year anniversary of Spotify. Metrics on purchase intent, usage, and spend were included for streaming music brands such as Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Google Play Music.
Survata interviewed 1,500 online respondents who stream music between October 24th – 26th, 2018. The study was sampled within the United States, and was approximately nationally representative of the US population on age and gender. The margin of error for this study at a 95% confidence level is 2.5%.
