More Cuts by Default
You can now access more cuts for your campaigns when results are available. State, Survey Completion Month, and Survey Completion Quarter cuts are created automatically for you and available in the lift, optimization, and reach tabs, as well as downloadable results.
More Intuitive Cut Groupings
In the sidebar of the Upwave UI, cuts are now grouped so that they’re faster and easier to find. The cut methodology and downloadable results have not changed. The updated cut groupings are: Tactic; Target Audience; Standard; Question; Time-Based; Standard Crosses; Custom.

Update of Upwave Norms
Upwave Norms continue to expand, giving you more ways to contextualize your campaigns’ performance. We’ve added new tactic norms for ad environments – including mobile, desktop, tablet, CTV, and cross-device – and refreshed channel norms through Q2 2025. KPIs are newly available for select channels.
To access norms for your campaign, go to the dashboard tab, click the norms button, and then download the full set by clicking the link at the bottom of the norms modal.
